Hi And thanks for the brilliant pictures of the Baby Blue Brian May They are Fantastic ! I Also own one !Exactly the same as the one in your pictures ! It is without question the finest quality guitar i have ever played. The finish is flawless unlike every gibson and fender iv owned and the 24 frets and ebony fingerboard make the instrument worthy of a much higher price tag. the sound, the action the quality and perfection of every aspect of this guitar is undeniably outstanding. i am planning on buying another one or two just for the different colours but i will never play anything else. Thanks again for your great pictures which i have saved to use as desktop images and i hope you are as impressed with the guitar as i am. Thanks again and bye for now, Eddy

Hi, I also have the Richwood Strat. I have an E number (Young Chang 1990?) Korean Squire Strat too. Are the pickups in the Richwood really GFS? How did you find this out? I took them out. I think, if I can find them again, I might put them in the Squire. I was going to buy GFS anyway! I will also be buying some GFS Mean 90s for a Westbury Standard to try and get that old Les Paul/SG P90 sound that the very early Carlos Santana got. Could you email me about this if you have time? Best regards, Colin.

Hi, at last I have found out what this guitar is I have been asked to repair!! A Cimar Astra 2085.....!!!
Do you have a wiring diagram at all for this guitar that I could get a copy of?
I could make a generic circuit, but want to explore the original first.
Much appreciated any help or links you may have for these guitars!
Regards
Dave

Hi Arkay!

You have quite a website!

I enjoyed it very much and had a few good laughs at the part about the computer nOObs (though I'm one of them...). Funny stuff.

Nice photo album, too!

Thanks!

Richard

Hello. i recently purchased a very beaten up old guitar and have managed to find out, thanks to your site, that its a cimar astra 2080. i was just wondering whether u knew the specs for it or the 2085 as it has a badly warped neck so needs a new one but i have no idea what to get! cheers
